Custom Japanese Symbols - Step 1

Step 1: Understanding what we can offer

In this step, we'd like to ask you to understand what we can offer in the custom order. This will allows us to make you feel happy with our products and help us establish the long-lasting business relationship with you.

► The final product is the sticker sheet

The following table describes the specification of the sticker sheet. This is what you will receive when you order the custom symbols.

The price is $7.50 US dollar per sheet.

The number of printed symbols can vary depending on the length of the word you order. Here are examples.

The symbols on the left side mean 'Angel' and it is short enough to fit in one label. Therefore, you get 20 of them per order.

The symbols on the right side mean 'Happy Birthday' and they are split into two labels. Therefore, you get 10 of them per order.



► A single English word or a two-word English phrase

You can order either a single word or a two-word phrase at a time. The name (first name + last name) is treated as a two-word phrase. Please see the following examples.

► Translated symbols may not fit in one label

As we mentioned earlier, we may not be able to fit the symbols into one label (4'' x 1''). In such a case, the information of how we split the symbols will be enclosed in our product.
 

► 4 different letter styles to choose from

Per your order, you can choose one of the four different letter styles. Please familiarize yourself with the following styles. We'll ask you which one you prefer in the next step.

►Symbols can be one of the followings - Kanji symbols only, Hiragana symbols only, Katakana symbols only and No preference

For example, you want to get Kanji symbols which mean 'God's hand'. In modern Japanese, these symbols require Hiragana as well as Kanji symbols. However, we can use Kanji only if you want to. Just let us know at Step 2.

Another typical case is the translation of your name to Kanji symbols. Generally, American names cannot be translated into Kanji symbols from the linguistics point of view. But we can do that, too because we know the name in Kanji looks great!

The downside of these cases is the translated symbols may look foreign to those who are familiar with Japanese.

You may think that it is contradicting to our policy (i.e. providing the correct and up-to-date Japanese symbols), but what you are looking for here are the custom symbols so we'd like to provide what you really need.

► No previewing is available

We're sorry that no previewing is available. But we'd like to assure you that our Japanese staffs will evaluate your order carefully and translate your word into the accurate Japanese symbols. If we can't do it, nobody else can!
